Doogee To Launch 12000mAh S89 Pro With Two Entry-Level Rugged Phones

In addition to the gorgeous V20 tough phone, Doogee has also given us the S98, and its lovely S98 Pro equivalent, and they have all gone on to establish records in various categories, according to a report from the company last month.

Doogee is planning to end July with a massive product launch. The list of products includes the X97 series, D11 smartwatch, D09 smartwatch, S89 Pro, and the S61 series. They will be available on AliExpress with the biggest discounts.

The most important model on the list is the S89 Pro rugged phone. The new S89 Pro stands out with an enormous 12000mAh battery and will come bundled with a 65W fast charging brick. 

A robot-shaped camera bump with RGB light-emitting eyes is the most remarkable feature. Light patterns, speed, and colour may all be preset to fit your personal preferences and needs. Colours may also be assigned to alerts, incoming phone calls, and voice commands. However, synchronizing the effects with music is where this ability really shines. Even in the quiet of your own house, you can enjoy a small disco.

With its IP68 and IP69K certifications, the S89 Pro is ready to be used in any wet environment. It can withstand being sprayed with or being completely submerged in water. It is drop-resistant and capable of operating in a wide range of extreme situations, just as the MIL-STD-810H certification requires.

When it comes to performance, the MediaTek P90 chipset powers the phone's processor, with an 8GB RAM setup and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 512GB with a TF card.

Three cameras are housed in a cartoon robot-shaped camera bump: a 64MP Sony main sensor, a 20MP night vision camera, and an 8MP wide-angle camera. The camera comes with a plethora of photographic options for optimizing and taking the best pictures.

On the front, a 6.3-inch LCD FHD+ display takes up much of the real estate with a hole cut out to house the 16MP selfie camera.

The device comes with the Android 12 operating system preinstalled. NFC, global frequency support, and custom buttons round out the list of available options.

S89 Pro's launch period stretches from July 25th to July 29th on AliExpress and Doogeemall. The world premiere price will be $269 but a very few lucky early buyers can get a $30 discount coupon to further reduce the price to $239. After July 29th, it will return to its original price of $319.

Doogee S61 Series 

Aside from the S89 Pro, Doogee is also planning to launch the S61 series. The S61 series is a group of entry-level rugged phones which includes a vanilla variant and a Pro model. 

What makes the S61 series unique is a design that allows its back cover to be removed and replaced. There are four unique back case designs, which include AG frost, carbon fibre, wood grain, and transparent back cases.

The S61 will also be launched on AliExpress and Doogeemall from July 25th to July 29th at a starting price of $109 for a limited time.

Doogee last month introduced the world to a new rugged phone Doogee S98 Pro that took its design inspiration from aliens with a night vision camera, thermal imaging sensor, and an ultra-wide camera. Today, Doogee has finally confirmed that this new, awesome game-changer is earmarked to launch on June 6th.

Highlight Recap

The rugged phone’s one of a kind alien design won a European Good Design Award. The company claims it will have the best camera systems on a rugged phone. A professional-grade thermal camera is flanked on either side by a 48MP SONY IMX582 primary camera and a 20MP SONY IMX350 night vision camera. According to the company, they made the decision to use an InfiRay sensor because it offers more than twice the thermal resolution of any other thermal sensor on the market.

Its high frame rate of 25Hz ensures pictures are detailed to be able to properly detect and diagnose dampness, elevated temperatures, blockages etc. Also, it comes with the Dual Spectrum Fusion algorithm makes it possible to combine images from both the thermal camera and the main camera into one picture.

The front camera though is a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9SP, which is housed in a cutout at the top of the display.

Inside the phone, MediaTek Helio G96 runs the show. It is an octa-core chipset capable of reaching a clocking speed of 2.05GHz, meaning it is capable of gaming. It is paired with an 8GB + 256GB memory for faster and more seamless operation. The storage can also be expanded up to 512GB using a micro SD card.

The device will come with a 6000mAh battery and a 33W ultrafast type-C charger. Wireless charging is available with support for up to 15W. 

We can't complete an article about a phone until we talk about its display. The S98 Pro will sport a 6.3” FHD+ LCD IPS waterdrop display with a Corning Gorilla Glass layer for protection.

The smartphone comes with other nifty features, such as a custom button, NFC, support for 4 navigational satellites (BeiDou, GALILEO, GPS, & GLONASS), IP68, IP69K ratings and MIL-STD-810H complaint. The phone will also run Android 12 out of the box with up to 3 years of security update guarantee from the company.

Pricing And Availability

The company confirmed the new S98 Pro will be launched and available for order on June 6th. The smartphone will debut on AliExpress, Doogeemall , and Linio (Latin America) shopping platforms.

The Doogee S98 Pro is valued at $439, but between June 6th and 10th, it will retail for a $329 world premiere discount. Doogee started 2022 with Doogee V20, then followed it with the successful S98 model. Doogee is now introducing its new S98 Pro, the rugged phone with thermal imaging, as a successor to the S98.

The S98 Pro comes out strong with an alien-inspired design. The shape of the camera bump combined with the thin slender lines on the back of the cover combines to illustrate the figure of the out-earthers.

The rugged phone is believed to have the best camera setup. The phone pairs a 48MP main camera with a 20MP night vision camera. Put that together with a thermal imaging sensor, and you have a camera set that can capture images in all situations. The night vision detects anything that reflects infrared light, whereas the thermal vision detects anything that emits heat.

The new rugged phone will use the InfiRay thermal sensor. With the highest thermal resolution of 256x192, it brings more than twice the number of thermal pixels as other sensors. Combining that with a 25Hz high frame rate, it produces images that are so clear it can accurately detect draught, dampness, leaks, electric short, blockages, and elevated temperatures.

The coolest thing about this thermal sensor is a technology called Dual Spectrum Fusion Algorithm. This tech allows images from the thermal sensor and the primary sensor to be placed over each other. Then you have a level that will let you adjust how much thermal detail transparency level you want over the actual image. This will allow you to accurately trace a problem spot.

The industry standard for dialysis using B-concentrate is to deliver it by powder and create the dialysis fluid on-demand at hospitals. Unfortunately that isn’t the case with A-Concentrate. Which means huge shipping costs and troublesome handling.

April 2022: Goth GF (which features LA-based artist Zach DeGaetano) releases new single called “Excuses”, with featuring artist “The Ready Set”. The song’s listed writers are Zach himself, as well as Carter Vaughan, The Ready Set & Allie Crystal.

“Excuses” is a song about those nostalgic feelings you experience post breakup, reminiscing over all the good times you shared with your ex and seemingly forgetting about all the bad times and reasons as to why the relationship ended in the first place.

“Excuses” deals with just that, looking for excuses for a potential reconciliation with your ex-partner.

Despite dealing with what many people probably would consider a more serious, and difficult subject matter, the song itself is produced to have a lighthearted and energetic feel, to not take the subject matter (or themselves for that matter) too seriously.

The concept of the song was developed together with Jordan Witzigreuter, who’s part of “The Ready Set”.

“Excuses” is part of the first drop (of three waterfall releases) the group (Goth GF), will be releasing over the next few months, much like an EP (which normally consists of 3-5 songs). Except the group has decided to call them “seasons”, similar to that of a TV-show, this season is called “Ouch”.

The new S98 rugged phone was announced last month by DOOGEE. The company will launch the dual-screen rugged phone on March 28th on AliExpress and Doommall (the company's official shopping platform).

Doogee is announcing a new addition to its S-series. The Doogee S98 rugged phone is scheduled to launch for global sale around the end of March.

What makes Doogee S98 amazing is the adoption of an eye-catching dual-screen design. In addition to the main display, it has a unique smart round rear display. The rear display's background is customizable using any picture of your choice. Common uses include checking the time, controlling music, checking battery levels, among others.

The new S98 will run on MediaTek’s Helio G96 SoC with a clocking speed of 2.05GHz. The octa-core processor is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage as standard. The storage can be expanded using a micro SD card. Expect fast performance since MediaTek G96 is a processor designed for an incredible gaming experience.

As you can guess, Doogee S98 is IP68 | IP69K rated. This means you can take a swim or wash the phone under a shower. It is MIL-STD-810G certified which means it should work fine in extreme weather.

Other features include NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, side-mounted fingerprint sensor among others.

Doogee hasn't confirmed the exact launch date of S98 but the information reaching us is that we can expect the device in the latter part of March.
